I notice that a shockingly large portion of the self professed "avid" fans haven't the foggiest idea of what's been happening in razorback athletics.
30% of the "avid" fans are unaware of the email? 58% of the "avid" fans haven't even read the emails?
43% of the "avid" fans have no opinion of the investigation of the emails?
37% of the "avid" fans have no opinion of the lawsuit?

If these are our "avid" fans, our program is in deep trouble. A significant percentage of these folks watch a few games a year. That's about it. It's pathetic. We don't belong in the SEC for these poll results alone.

If houston craps in the bed this season, combined with the next two years under .500 in conference, there might not be a program left to talk about.

Why don't you be a little more specific? Explain what you find objectionable to averaging. I am interested, and willing to consider an informed opinion.

Also, I would be interested in your explanation as to why, coming off a 10 win season, only 62% of the fan base is satisfied with the Head Coach.

All that said, Houston Nutt still came out with a favorable rating of nearly 68.75%. Go figure. Nearly 7-out-of-10 fans support Houston Nutt. That's pretty damn good for a guy with so much turmoil in his life. It's amazingly good for a man who is being accused of everything short of being the original cause of mankind's sinning nature.

Let's see.....   only 21 - 28% of the fanbase is 'very' satisfied with our 10-win, SEC coach of the year?  That means that between 70 - 80% of the fanbase is lukewarm to HDN..... AT BEST.

I must say this was very disappointing to me to see the results of the poll. At this rate of apathy we will never get rid of this guy unless the new AD, Terry Don, gets rid of the guy.  It's really really sad news.

I was rather SHOCKED at the 63% (overall) of fans that support HDN.  With all of the news, talk, etc. I really thought it would be much lower...around 50% or so.

I'm not sure where everyone is getting 63% from.  By my calculations it's just less than 62%.

With that said, the poll came out almost exactly as I expected (and predicted, somewhere).  The proof is in the pudding with regard to where most fans get their info about the Hogs.

If you get it all from TV, radio, and newspapers you are bound to be less informed than those of us on the net.  And if you are uninformed regarding the e-mail and Gus, then it becomes about 10-4.  And if it's about 10-4, 62% is a pretty poor number...

WMHF, what should be shocking is the fact that this poll came out AFTER a 10 win season. Name the last time a fans base was this divided after their team had 10 wins?

While no it is not the majority that are dissatisfied still the number is quite high. Much higher than the 5% Frank would have us believe.

It makes you wonder what the numbers would have looked like if say we had only won 6 or 7 games last season.
